We are just minutes from downtown Blue Ridge GA. Easy access just off of Morganton Hwy and right by Morganton point, lake Blue Ridge is less than a mile away. We have huge spacious rooms that are really suits to accompany a couple or a family. We provide an awesome breakfast with use of porches and information on all the stuff to do in the area. There is so much to do in this area like; the train ride downtown Blue Ridge, shopping, hiking, dinning, site seeing, mountain views, whitewater rafting, boat rental, and so much more. Price includes taxes and cleaning fees.

Recreation center

Morganton Point Recreation center is just over a mile away, with swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking. Just past that is the Toccoa River with kayak rentals down the river, so much fun.


There are boat rentals available at the marina very close to the house. We also offer boat rides on are pontoon boat when available. Lake Blue Ridge has a 100 miles of shoreline full of many coves with mountains, and beautiful scenery all along it.

Sightseeing & Hiking

Many hiking trails and waterfalls in the area. Beautiful mountain views, driving tours, Vogel State Park, Brasstown Bald Mountain has an amazing observation deck on the top of Georgia's highest mountain, just to name a few. So much to see and do.

Downtown Shopping

Downtown shopping, dinning, and train ride all in downtown Blue Ridge just minutes from the house.

Wildlife viewing

We have three large porches, one is up on the top floor right off of the rooms overlooking the woods. The other is on the second floor where we can serve breakfast, and is perfect for bird watching. The third is the front porch for just sitting and relaxing.

White water rafting

White water rafting down the Ocoee river for the more adventurous. This is real white water where the Olympics was held. There is also beautiful hiking trails along the river, and viewing places to just sit and watch the river.


Things to do

Adventures are abundant at Amicalola State Park and Lodge. From high flying on our Georgia zip line adventure to hiking Amicalola Falls. We still have all of what you love and more of what you crave from our mountain wonderland. Join us for our weekly activities like our popular Fire Pit Stories or schedule an adventure package with activities that are sure to get your adrenaline pumping. Our event calendar lists both regularly scheduled activities and other special events happening at the Lodge and at the Park.
All trips depart at 11:00AM and return at 3:00PM. Cars are assigned-seats are not. Seats are sold on a first come, first serve basis. Pricing does not reflect taxes and online ticketing fees. Lap children under the age of 2 are free, but are required to have a ticket. Our regular 4 hour, 26 mile round trip winds along the beautiful Toccoa River for 1 hour in vintage climate-controlled or open-air rail cars.The relaxing ride starts at the historic depot, built in 1905 in downtown Blue Ridge, then stops for a two hour layover in the quaint sister towns of McCaysville, Georgia and Copperhill, Tennessee.

A popular destination for day-hikers, Benton MacKaye Trail through hikers, and paddlers making the journey down the Toccoa River Canoe Trail is the swinging bridge over the Toccoa River. This 270 foot long bridge is the longest swinging bridge east of the Mississippi River. The Swinging Bridge over the Toccoa River is located on the Benton MacKaye Trail and the Duncan Ridge National Recreation Trail in Fannin County. It was built by the USDA Forest Service in cooperation with the Appalachian Trail Club in 1977.
Long Creek Falls is a waterfall located in Fannin County, Georgia. The falls are about 50 feet (15 meters) high and are fairly wide. The falls are located in Chattahoochee National Forest near Three Forks, and are accessible from the Appalachian Trail, the Benton MacKaye Trail, and the Duncan Ridge Trail. A serene destination for Atlanta city goers to seek out during the weekends, especially in October.
Flowing out of Lake Blue Ridge as the Toccoa River, the name changes to Ocoee at the Tennessee border. The Class III and IV rapids that highlight the river begin just west of Ducktown, TN. Rafting trips feature the Upper Ocoee, including the Olympic kayaking course created for the 1996 Olympic Games at the Ocoee Whitewater Center; the Middle Ocoee, a five mile stretch of Class III and IV whitewater; and a Full River Trip which includes both Upper and Middle sections. Full River and Upper River trips are available only on designated days on weekends in the summer.
